SideFx Houdini

Throughout the course, we will be using one of the industry standard tools for effects animation, SideFx Houdini, to work on our projects. We were unfortunately unable to get licenses for the class, so each student will need to use their own personal laptops or home computers to download the free Houdini Apprentice version to use for the duration of the course. Below are links to the SideFx site, link to download the software and some helpful beginner tutorials. You'll need to register to have an account on SideFx before downloading the software to your computer. I would recommend downloading the software to your personal computer prior to the first day of class.
